Celebrating 15 years with Stampin Up!
I just realized I have not shared any photos from the wedding on Oct 20= I think it has taken me this long to recuperate! lol
I have an album going on my personal FB page, but here are a few highlights of the most PERFECT day ever in our family!
Madison and Garrett (bro and sis) My middle sons' kids- yep my grandkids! They were awesome!
Garrett carried a wood sign I made that said- Too late to run cuz here she comes! and Duane got a good laugh when he read it
They didn't have cake, but they had mini pies because they both love pie better than cake
she danced with her Dad (my ex- no photo) to the Tim McGraw song - "my little girl" and then she danced with her Step Dad Kay- my hubby and you should listen to the song HERE and I cried! lol

We are just starting to see some of the 1700 photos the photographer took and they are stunning. As I said, it was a PERFECT DAY! And I have new son! woot

Hi all
The wedding was PERFECT! You can see photos at this link. I cannot remember a more perfect day- weather, people, event etc.. More photos will be added to the album as soon as we can.
So far, we have the TV stand put together and in use and this evening, our small couch will be delivered. Kay's work schedule is all over the place, so our next project will be the desk in my craft/spare room and bringing the 2 shelf units and food from Katie and Duane's house. And getting that room all set up. I have a Christmas Card class coming up in November and I want to be ready for it! Besides, I just want to CREATE!!!!
The sad news: I cannot locate my big shot and accessories in the storage unit- so I had to order a new one today. ugh.
Trying to find a medical doctor here is not proving easy- I have been told if I don't have insurance they won't take "cash" and I don't have insurance because of the move, jobs changing etc. My ulcer is acting up and I would rather NOT pay for emergency room costs that I really do not need! Evidently, they can't charge as much when we pay cash as they can to the insurance companies- sad, it's no longer about helping people it's about money- very sad
This Saturday is Jack's championship football game and I plan to be there! How fun it is to be close enough to do these things now!

Celebrating 14+ years with Stampin Up!
Hi Everyone!!
It's hot here but we are loving it!
We have started working on the wedding invitations, silverware bags and the jars-
Today I am sharing photos of the bags we will put the silverware in. Stampin Up! sold these adorable muslin bags and I bought enough at the time just in case- lol sure glad I did!
The Burlap ribbon is a Stampin Up! Item also, but the flowers are from Martin's floral in Springfield, Missouri- I bought them on sale just in case and here we are~!
It is a lot of fun being able to be with Katie as we work "together" on her wedding decorations. We are making about 100 of these.
I am feeling truly blessed to be here. I should find my paper in the storage unit to use to make her shower favors - I am thinking I may just hit the craft store for a 12x12 pad of white on white papers instead of having to break my back sorting boxes lol. We did look at a cute brand new home today- will speak to the lender on Friday to see what she says. It's hard moving without it being for a job and the semi retired stuff. anyhow it is what it is!

I am always excited for our new Annual Stampin Up Catalog!!! (happy happy happy dancing here) except my orders are headed for my daughters so I have to wait until we get there to see them! sigh
We have beautiful NEW COLORS, NEW PAPERS, NEW STAMPS and even more fun are the NEW ACCESSORIES! woot
I tend to always buy papers and accessories including dies for my big shot first but this time I found myself buying kits and refills so we can pre-make the thank you cards for Katie and Duane's wedding in October! YEP! My baby girl is getting married!! So many changes this year for Kay and I; selling, moving and now a wedding. But those of you who know me well, know I am a challenge girl and I am up to this challenge!! The good thing about the wedding is I already have ALL the Fall decorations!!! It's good to be an over achiever in the home holiday decorating dept AND that I started collecting specific fall wedding items (on sale) a few years ago knowing that "fall" is when she would marry. Sigh of relief
Now to get our papers signed on July 6 and get moved across the US and begin yet another adventure with my hubby!
