Paper Room Update!!!

I have been working hard to get my paper crafting room up to speed but time and funds only allow so much at a time! lol

Here are a few photos of the "progress".  I knew you would be interested in it.

We went to Ikea for the shelving units-  Billy Bookcases-   they are not expensive but look it and they are HEAVY and VERY well built!  Kay was happy as he put them together because they are so easy!~!!

I am not even close to having all my boxes emptied but seeing progress is encouraging!  Dancing an Irish Jig I am so thrilled with them! I can't wait to get them in my sewing room next! (taller ones)

I have NOT quit Stampin Up, this does not conflict with it and I am loving doing both!   I will celebrate 16 years with Stampin Up the week after Thanksgiving and I am truly blessed!

It's Happening!! Whoo Hooo!

The long-awaited shelving in my papercraft room is happening today!

On Wednesday we were at Ikea choosing  Billy Book Cases for my paper crafting room-  

Today they are assembling them and setting them up!!

They guys are currently at the hardware store for a few supplies and will continue the project!

it's a disaster in there right now, downsizing is a pain but in the long run, it will be so worth it!!!

I am VERY excited and I will post more as the project and room progress!!!!!!

Setting Up

Hi all

The wedding was PERFECT!  You can see photos at this link.  I cannot remember a more perfect day- weather, people, event etc.. More photos will be added to the album as soon as we can.

So far,  we have the TV stand put together and in use and this evening, our small couch will be delivered.  Kay's work schedule is all over the place, so our next project will be the desk in my craft/spare room and bringing the 2 shelf units and food from Katie and Duane's house. And getting that room all set up. I have a Christmas Card class coming up in November and I want to be ready for it!  Besides, I just want to CREATE!!!!

The sad news: I  cannot locate my big shot and accessories in the storage unit- so I had to order a new one today.  ugh.

Trying to find a medical doctor here is not proving easy- I have been told if I don't have insurance they won't take "cash" and I don't have insurance because of the move, jobs changing etc.  My ulcer is acting up and I would rather NOT pay for emergency room costs that I really do not need!  Evidently, they can't charge as much when we pay cash as they can to the insurance companies-  sad, it's no longer about helping people it's about money-  very sad

This Saturday is Jack's championship football game and I plan to be there!   How fun it is to be close enough to do these things now!

Life Throws some BIG Curveballs

So the people we were selling to, we now are not.   We have put the house temporarily off the market to do a few items and then 

it will relist and we already know who will put in the first offer.  Just a bump in the road of life here-

I truly feel the people who really love the house (first offer) should be in it so now we are looking at mid july. however, if we get a few things fixed we could still move and get established and looking for a new place out there(and get into my stampin up order at my daughters lol)
