LET US INSPIRE YOU Do you need an extra dose of inspiration? Don’t worry—it’s right at your fingertips. All you need is a catalog and a willingness to experiment. Start by flipping through the annual or January–June catalog and pick a project that catches your attention. Then, CASE it (Copy And Share Everything)! Here’s how it works—you choose one aspect of your chosen inspiration piece and copy it on a new project. We selected the Enjoy the Little Things card from page 125 of the annual catalog as the inspiration piece. Then, we used these CASEing techniques to create three additional projects. Copy the color scheme. The Great Places card uses the same color scheme as the inspiration piece. Copy the technique. The Thanks card copies the technique of the original card by incorporating a die-cut background with separate cut-out pieces added back in. Copy the layout. Take the guesswork out of project design by using the inspiration piece as a template as we did on the Love & Joy card. Simply mimic the design but substitute different stamps, paper, and accessories.

I have my grandkids this week because their parents were called back to work and they needed someplace to go!

I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am to spend time with them, this is the first time they have been able to come to spend the night and spend a week with us!  

When they are gone in a couple of days to "Aunt Katies" house and I plan to hit my paper crafting room and get some cards and books made! We have been spending a lot of time outside in the backyard pruning grapes, raking leaves, planting all the hostas and other plants I brought from Missouri when we moved and laying the foundation stones for some raised bed gardens- hubby is out there now still laying block-  photos coming when its all together then you can see before and after!

In the meantime I want to offer a challenge- use the above ideas, create a cased project using all Stampin Up supplies either retired or new, then email a photo of your creation INCLUDE the page number from the catalog you used for inspiration and I will choose a winner for a special fun prize mailed directly to you so include your mailing address in the email!
