Mom is Gone
Your Help is Needed

Hi friends!

It's Monday and alot cooler temps outside than it has been. We are still down for our normal water level this year and praying for a couple good soakers.

I am doing "ok".  The paperwork for death certificates etc is a NIGHTMARE and is the part that actually has me stressed beyond words.

I just sent out my July Newsletter. I hope you are on the list to receive it. If not you can subscribe in the left column where it says  Sign up for my Email Newsletter

I am regrouping and  I will begin posting projects and products during August after a much needed vacation the next 10 days.

I am looking for people interested in memory keeping (NOT scrap booking) or any burned out scrapbookers who want to document their photos without draining time, energy & wallets. No creativity required!!!  No gluing or cropping! It is so quick, easy, and very affordable. I'd LOVE to show you how you can create beautiful albums documenting your story without all of the time and energy of traditional scrapbooking!!!!   I will be offering classes starting in September.  Email me if this interests you.

In the meantime here are a couple photos of my Awesome Mom and hero. Photos taken in 1948 when she was the 1st Toppenish Rodeo Queen.

Ada queen 1948Here is a fun story a friend on Facebook sent meright before her passing:

Hi Gwen....my heart is with you....wanted to share this with you. My Mom was 16 straight from KY. never seen a rodeo, cowboys, Indians or anything Western. Uncle Chet took her to her 1st Rodeo...Toppenish Pow Wow and the 1st thing she saw was your Mom riding in as the Queen. Your Mom's horse exploded into a bucking fit. Mom said, Your Mom never hesitated just rode the horse right through the bucking storm. Was a Queen through it all. My Mom was so impressed! That memory has stayed with her since she was 16. May even be the reason that she came back out after she graduated from Marion KY. Your Mom might be the reason Mom met Dad.....something to think about. I just wanted you to know about Mom's memories. All Our Love. Love ya oodles My Friend.

I look forward to adding that story to the traditional memory book I will be creating with Mom's photos inside.

I am truly blessed to have had such a strong, resilient, beautiful and funny example in my life. Heavenly Father knows what he is doing and I couldn't be more grateful to him for her!

Have a fabulous week.  I will be back posting around August 6th.

Gwen

Gwen, just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you during this difficult time. Losing one parent is hard enough but to lose both of them in such a short period of time has to be unreal. Praying that God will be a real source of comfort for you and your family.
