Yesterday I was able to spend about 10 hours with a wonderful friend scrapbooking!
I chose a project for a new grandson we have arriving in April.(grandbaby #19) I was able to completely finish 4 pages (trust me it was quite an accomplishment!) and I will share one page per day this week.
This is the first page that will be in the book. They are all 12x12 in size. Her baby layout is Simba but I figure Zoo animals will work too after all, Simba is a Lion!
I used my Cricut and the new layout cartridge I bought last fall. It will be used throughout the book as well as the Critter cartridge. The solid and some of the pattern papers will be Stampin Up and some will be random papers I have purchased. The words and the monkey hanging from the L are all made using the Cricut and each letter has dimensionals on teh back to give it depth. The background is all one paper cut to layer on a solid sheet of 12x12 SU cardstock. The monkey is adhered directly to the background paper.
I am excited to show you the other pages I have made. Besides these 4 pages I have many more to complete for the book. Now, I just have to find a cute 12x12 album that goes with the theme!
TIP: When you use Stampin Up Cardstock in your Cricut, be SURE you use HEAVY DUTY depth and cut twice.
Thanks for stopping in today!
