I love (yes pun intended!) to create Valentines!
Here is my first Valentine for the new year....
Wouldn't this be just gorgeous on a scrapbook page for a Wedding or Anniversary? Or use this card for Weddings and Anniversary cards! We always need one!

I stamped the heart image from the Always stamp set using the White Craft pad onto the Rose Red and Chocolate Chip cardstocks. (this is where scraps come in handy too!)
I dipped these stamped hearts quickly into the White Embossing Powder in the Powderpal Tray and shook off the excess.
Using the Heat Tool, I heated the embossing powder and set the hearts aside to cool.
I cut my card base at 4 1/4 x 11 and folded in half with a bone folder.
I cut the whisper white 4 x 5 1/4" and put it in the embossing folder and ran through the Big Shot.
The center pieces are cut at 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 regal rose and 3 1/4 x 3 1/4" of whisper white. I put the whisper white in the embossing folder and ran it through the big shot.
Using a pair of sharp snips, cut out by hand around your hearts leaving just a little border. Put dimensionals on the back of both hearts and set aside.
The Organza Ribbon is cut at 17 inches long- yes, for a bow even as small as mine in the photo I cut the ribbon 17 inches long.
Using Snail and being careful NOT to pull on the embossed whisper white cardstock to distort the shape or size, adhere it to the Regal Rose card base you folded in 1/2.
Then adhere the 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 white to the 3 1/2x 3 1/2 regal rose the same way and now you can tie your bow around both of these layers only. Keep it at hte bottom left corner, you can adjust the position a bit after you adhere the hearts.
Now adhere the hearts to the center piece and adjust your bow/ribbon. I tried just a knot, and it just did not add to they elegance this card has so I went back and tied the bow and ta dah!
Put a dimensional on each corner of the center piece and adhere to the card front and you are all finished with the card. Well, I used some versamark and the heart and stamped 2 hearts on the inside bottom right corner of the card... now you are done! I am trying to be better and decorating the inside of my cards too. My brain seems to say- phew the front is done I am all done! lol Not!
For the Envelope I put just the flap in the embossing folder and ran it through the big shot! That decorates your envelope without much fuss and makes it look VERY expensive and elegant! A great trick for Wedding invitations too!
