I have made my Mini Memories kit Album and I will be sharing 20 photos of it after this fun video!
This has been one of my MOST FAVORITE kits that Stampin Up! Has come out with in the 10 years I have been a demonstrator! It's not only cute, but it's EASY to put together and I love the color scheme!
Eventually I will be adding photos to this album and when I do I will add more embellishments and journaling to this book, but I wanted to get it made up as a sample for my upcoming Scrapbook Crop Vendor booth! I plan to put the photos from Paducah Quilt show in April in this album!
It was fun to create this mini album kit and I added a couple of the Watercolor Wonder Deisgner Notecards from the Occasions Mini and a couple of cardstock pages in colors that coordinated with the kit to create some fun different sized pages! I also added from my "stash" the lace and roses shown on the front cover plus the pearls, ribbon, and other items not in the kit. Use anything you have on hand that coordinates!
I will make a comment about the pages below each photo- I hope you like my book and it inspires you to create one of your own using this fun and beautiful EASY kit!
Remember- click on each photo to see it full size!
For the Front cover, I sponged Cantelope Ink over the PRE-embossed flowers to pop them out then I added the lace from my sewing stash to vintage it up a little and I used the ink and sponged the roses we sell and added them with sticky strip. I can't tell you HOW much I love this book kit! The pearls in the flowers are adhered with our mini glue dots
Here is a top view of the finished book. The colors of this kit are just so gorgeous!
For the inside left cover, I used Cantelope cardstock to cover the lace and make a place for journaling or a photo or both. The right page is made from kit elements and I added the tiniest pearls we sell in all the flower centers.
The next pages are made using more elements from the kit- except the note card in the center- it's from the Watercolor note cards in the new Occasions 2014 catalog! So fun to add different elements to a book!
For this page I used the elements to create that cute pocket in the left bottom corner and added another element as the "tag" for it.
This page is gold foil stripes and so ELEGANT! I didn't add any bling as I want to put the picture on the page first and then add afterwards. This fun paper is golden pears- add a doily from the kit and a label and button and you have a fast gorgeous page!
I like adding a few tabs on "some" of the pages to help turn/flip through the book easier as well as to add texture and bling! I never add them to everypage it's just to "much"
The brown tulip paper is a paper bag, it's just fun to add it as a page and I used Cantelope Cardstock to create a page/tag to go inside of it for more photos and journaling- just use your favorite edge punch on it to add even more texture and bling!
Another gold foil page- this time it's dots! so gorgeous & elegant!!
One of my favorite elements in this kit are the ready to use doilies!
The white page on the right is an envelope, I added the gold clip heart on the lip of the envelope so that it opens easier and adds some bling. I will add photos, journaling and I plan to use our new Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape to adhere many of my photos into this book and to add more visual impact.
These were fun pages to create because I am in total LOVE with this flower paper! It's so ME! On the right page I created a Cantelope cardstock strip and ran it through my embossing folder then sponged ink on it to pop the design and just used snail to adhere it to the page.
I added another watercolor notecard insert for more journaling, notes or photos and I stamped a tiny heart in Cantelope ink in the corners
I used one of the papers from the kit to cover the inside of the back of the book
This is the back of the book and it's fun because it's pre embossed and all I used a sponge dipped in Cantelope ink and sponged color on it to match the front.
The holes are prepunched in the papers and I inserted the gold rings from the kit. I have plenty of room in this album for more pages if I need them and to add all my photos and journaling without adding larger rings!
I hope you enjoyed this show and tell of my album and that you are inspired to create a book from this kit of your own or as a gift. I know several of my daughters would love this kit to make their own albums! What a great Mother's day gift or Grandmother's gift and don't forget one for your special friends!
My pal Terry from home emailed me this- So worth a few minutes- just be sure you have some Kleenex handy!
I have more "mom drama" she now has to wear an ankle bracelet so she can't run off from the home anymore. She is a 3 yr old with the fake crying and temper tantrums= throw herself on the asphalt type stunts. I am at the end of my rope.
I haven't had time to create anything the last few days because of it- so I hope you enjoy this wonderful video today!

And this! woo hoooooooooooooooooooo
I can't believe it has been 10 years already! I can't wait to walk the stage next summer at convention!! Woot Woot! I am blessed to be affiliated with this AMAZING company. Before marrying Kay I had been in a LOT of different companies and always did pretty well. Stampin Up! is the first company I have ever worked with who actually CARES about their people and treats them so well, including training. Not to mention how much "fun" we have and share!
I joined 10 years ago just to get a discount on my products. Who knew it would turn into such a fun and profitable business? I have made some pretty fabulous friends because of what I do as a demonstrator, and because of Stampin Up! and their amazing demonstrator trainings.
If you are looking for products at discount or you want to earn extra money part time or full time, I highly recommend Stampin Up!
We're celebrating Stampin' Up!'s 25th anniversary all year long, but
during the week of the actual date (October 25th to be exact) we thought
we should pump up the party even more. So what better way than a sale
on the very products that started it all: stamps, of course!
Dates: October 22-28, 2013

Utah Business Magazine and IPG Industrial Real Estate sponsored a web series entitled, The One Thing.
They asked Utah business CEOs about the one thing that has made their
companies successful. You may have heard of a few of them—Miche,
1-800-CONTACTS, Vivant, oh, and Stampin’ Up! That’s right, find out what
Shelli had to say about what sets us apart.
I hope you share this with your girlfriends, sisters, nieces, mom, grandma's, granddaughters, cousins etc because REAL men feel this way! I just had a guy cousin tell me last weekend that he HATES the low cut shirts and daisy duke shorts/skirts/dresses and tattoos (he does NOT belong to the same church as me either!) he said he has to turn and look the other because it's NOT pretty, it's slutty (his words not mine) when females dress that way or allow their young girls to dress that way.
