Today I have some house work to do, I have one loaf of bread done and cooling and another in the bread machine, and this afternoon my "plan" is to put the borders on my quilt and ready it and 2 others for the quilting lady and start on the cowboy quilt for the spare bedroom. I will let you know tomorrow how the plans turned out!  We have a severe thunderstorm warning going on and its very dark outside and I just started hearing thunder off in the distance so that means possibility of tornados too-  as long as the electricity stays on today I dont care!  May have to turn off the computer for a while - GASP!

I have a funny to share:

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been Computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'
He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work.
I didn't mean to 'click.'
But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site.
That I got SO way into it.
I was into it all night.
Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney.

I am sick today- boo hisss

I was out burning leaves and branches and inhaled a lot of smoke day before yesterday and I woke up yesterday sicker than a dog with sinus problems.  I took a prescription allergy pill this morning that made me so tired I had to sleep for 2 hours! ARGH!

So anyhow,  I dont have a project to share but I will have 4 cards to show you tomorrow because it is CARDS GALORE and I will share the projects I have created for it. 3 Masculine cards and 1 Easter card!

now, I am off to see what I can get done before I have to warm the couch again.  I have so much to do, wish we could clone ourselves, I would let the clone be sick today so I could go outside in the gorgeous sunshine (and another clone to clean up my stamp room lol)

Sketch Challenge #15

I was over at 2 sketches 4 u and saw this sketch and all the cute cards and I decided to enter their contest. Here is my version of Laura's Sketch 15.

 

This is the very first card sketch challenge I have joined in on-  what do you think?

 NO MATTER what I did, where I put the card or how I set the camera settings, there was a "shadow" ( I feel doomed lol)   We have very gloomy weather I don't know if that is a contributor or not, but it really is frustrating!  Do you have one of those cute set ups for taking photos of your cards?  Please post your link or a link to a website so I can make adjustments. Thanks!

 

I have another card made from coordinating papers, but until I get a "clear" photo I won't post it-  stay tuned!
