Monday Night Foot Ball Crop begins Sept. 20, 2010

FOOT BALL WIDOW? Need time to get projects ready for the upcoming holidays?

Starting on Monday September 20, 2010 and running through Monday October 18, 2010-  I am hosting Monday night Football Crop Night at my home from 6-10pm.

Bring your projects to crop, make cards, sew, just work on whatever project you have going. This is an awesome time to get going on those Christmas gifts or decorations!

As always I will have my big shot and dies, punches and advice ready and waiting for you!

Please bring your own adhesives, stamps, inks, cutters, cardstock, etc for your projects. I will only have the big shot, dies and punches available for use. But I will have my bins of RETIRED cardstock,  RETIRED stamps, RETIRED ribbon and RETIRED eyelets for sale in case you need any!

Also, if you have a preferred non alcoholic drink you like, feel free to bring it but it must have a lid and sit on the floor.

It's going to be a lot of fun!   Space is Limited, that is why I am requiring preregistration/payment. I don't want to over book the space.

Log Cabin Quilt project

Hello everyone!

Last night I cut all the strips for 2 log cabin twin sized quilts.

The theme for this bedroom for the retreat I am opening here at my home, is Americana! And with all that fabric I have it wasn't hard to find just the right pieces for these 2 quilts!  And because I am using up what I have, they won't be identical but very close!

I will begin sewing today after uploading my retired stamps to the photo album this morning and by tonight or later tomorrow I should have both of the quilt top blocks all sewn together if not the entire tops sewn together. We will see -  We are babysitting Kayley and Maggie tonight so I need to get sewing!

This is the tumbler template I referred to in a previous post. YES IT IS HUGE and I am very excited because it will use up a lot of scrap fabrics very quickly!! And I promised myself I would get quilts made and use up a bunch of my fabrics before buying new. And there are so many new ones I want- need? Yes, Need! lol

I am really excited to be quilting again!  Thank you to my wonderful supportive Husband who is so awesome and encouraging!  Kay is very good at encouraging my talents, I didn't have that in my first marriage, I am truly blessed!

2 more things-   Saturday is Crop all day at Lisa's and I am so excited to go I can hardly stand it! I have to pack for it tomorrow, I am taking my pal Becky with me and we are going to have so much fun!

And, I now have a Vendor booth at the Springfield Highstreet Crop for Kids on August 7- 8am-10pm
