I love to collect sketches from all kinds of websites and blogs and I decided to share them here with you! I have NO clue who created them and most have the name of the designer on the sketch. I am only sharing- I am NOT taking credit for ANY of these sketches. Have fun and I hope they inspire you as they continue to do me!

My NEW designer paper rack!!!!

Today we are off to the KGBX Women's expo in Springfield to hand out vendor forms to the booths there for our local Women in Busines show in April (more on that another day)

Here is a photo of my brand new (used) Cardstock and Designer paper rack I purchased from someone who had closed their store.

I just need one more and all my cardstock will be out so I can see it! lolol

Paper holder

Now for the photo I hate to share, but I want you to know that I am not organized like many think lol . I am a messy creative person and I need a clone just to clean up after me!

Messy table

can I have a clone to cook and clean and drive teenagers around too?  If wishes were fishes.........

Have a great day and I will see you tomorrow!

Re- Inker Organizational idea!

When we were in Kansas City, MO on Saturday, I was able to visit Archivers.  I was specifically looking for some kind of storage for my Stampin Up! Reinkers. And guess what?  I found it, but I only bought one so next time or when Lisa goes I will have to get another!  A good thing about this is that I now have inventoried my reinkers and find 5 missing so I can order those and have enough to reink all my pads. I always do it in the fall.  I also went through my wheel inks and have them organized and inventoried too! It took me the entire time while watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding! lol  It is going to be HOT HOT HOT here today-  they say heat index of about 108 with the temp about 98. ARGH! Great day to spend in the basement where it is cooler than the rest of the house!

Now for the photos of my new container!

1) sorting & inventory as I go

100_5303

2) aren't they gorgeous all sorted? YOWZA! I used my dymo labeler to make labels by color groups for the ends and top of the box so my family and friends wont get confused when looking for a color in a group. Before they were sorted by the blues, reds , yellows etc- not anymore I am tired of the clutter and I am FINALLY getting my act together and get organized!  Oh my-  now I just have to keep it this way! lol

 100_5304

3)  I like this box not only because of the size, (I took a reinker with me to be sure I bought the right type box)  but also because of the handy moveable dividers inside that allow me to partition off the colors so I can seperate them and when I move the box and shake it - they don't fall all over and get mixed up!

100_5305

4)  I will have to have another one tho for retired colors and metallics -

100_5306

5) My retired IN colors now have the YEAR they were "in"  written on them, FINALLY! lol

and they are sorted by year too!  hooray for me!

ok that is it for now, check back tomorrow and see what I did this afternoon!

More room photos!

Slowly but surely, the room is taking shape! Under the CREATE saying I have my "tool table" I will add photos of it also- lol you will laugh but it "should" work! lolol

I took Ann's advice and put the create saying about eye level- now remember Hubby and I are TALL people!  And Lisa was VERY helpful, she not only had me add these decor rub ons by the TV, but advised me on my family room curtains, and got me through the fact that I caught a pan on fire on the stove while we were down chatting in the stamp room! YIKES!  It STILL stinks in here! Ok enough chat, here are the photos- what do you think? It's so much prettier in person!  Now to get the trim done around the shelves and get the rest of my stuff put away! lololol

Check this out...... it's MY "TOOL TABLE" !!! Having these on this table and not my actual table/work surface will make so much MORE room to scrapbook and stamp! YIPPEEE!

Tool table!

One day this table will be replaced with a counter top that people can sit at during classes.  But this old 5.00 church table will have to do for now!

So, today holds more putting away, sorting and hopefully next week REAL CREATING! lol  I have to tell you that I love, love, love this room now- before it was white and just blahhhh (nice but blahhhh/boring)  I also like the way I have moved things around and how elegant it looks in person- so when are you coming over to stamp? I promise not to have anything catch fire when you are here! roflol

Scrapbooking Room Renovation Update!

Photos taken this morning for an update!!!  Remember, I am not done putting stuff away organizing etc! Have a lot of items left to sort and put away!  The trim around the shelf unit will get done tonight or tomorrow night. Isnt it lovely? I am SO excited! And beside my TV are my container filled with cds to listen to or my DVD tutorials I have been buying!  My room measures 21 ft long by 14 ft wide.  It is dreamy and roomy and I love having classes in here!

Would love ideas for the rub ons in the photo shared- not sure if this is the arrangement I want- There will be a table and eventually a counter top along this wall for sitting at and scrapbooking where my sizzix (see in the corner of the shelving unit?) and the cuttlebug will sit all the time to use.  I have errands with friends this morning- we are off to Bylers for bulk food for food storage and then home to keep plugging away at getting organized again! lol

This is a rack I bought when a local scrapping store went out of business- it has to be re- organized also but it sure holds a lot of stuff! And my new motto is -  it has to be out where I can see it to use it and remember that I have it!

The on going project of my classroom

Hi everyone! here are a couple photo updates on my stamp room. Now that Kay isn't going back to Austin anytime soon (hes been gone 4 weeks and only home on weekends) We will be able to "finish" this project this week!

YIPPEE! No one is happier than me! lol

100_5235

This is the base unit for the wall shelves Kay is building- this wall has an inset the size of the outside of this shelf unit- so what a great "built in " item to now have!

Tomorrow we will be cutting and staining the shelves and by Wed I will be able to have them all in and the trip will be around it and it will be all done and I can start putting things in it!  The bottom area is to fit my tv and dvd/cds that I want to have- you know all those tutorial dvds I keep buying? They will be in there and I can watch and create! YIPPEE!

100_5236  The 2 book cases on the right are walmart specials we have had for a few years so I decided to paint them the same color as the walls.  The unit on the far left is just a cubicle unit I bought from a JC Penney catalog aobut 18 years ago and it moves around and I still have some pieces not in the photo but not sure I am going to resuse- anyhow painted them also- I find that now that I am putting things in the shelves, the paint is peeling abit so will buy some of that non slide lining for the shelves and keep it pretty.  One day a full counter and cupboards will be along this wall but for now this is working fine!  I will really be glad to have all of this back together by the end of the week so I can start scrapbooking again!!

Stay tuned for photo updates!   Come on over in a couple weeks and scrap with me!

Hope your weekend is fantastic too!!

My use for Rub ons & Decor Elements

As I have been talking about, we are repainting and decorating my stamp studio.  I have added a few photos of the painting process to my "stamp room photo album". Here is a photo of what I did for my switch plates. You can see more photos in the photo album and all updated photos will just be added there.

Saturday we are building a set of shelves to go in the recessed area you see in the painting photos. Keep checking back to see how it progresses and what Decor Elements and unique techniques I have added to my walls and projects!

My new goodie!!!

Here is my new goodie! I just love it and wish I had room for one more!!  I have hung my ribbon (will hang more after I get another wire rack)  templates for various things, I emptied an entire drawer therefore I have more storage room in my drawers!  I hung my rub ons (albeit in a ziplock bag with a hole punched it it) but they are up where I can find them! YIPPEE!  I found in that drawer duplicates of the stencils that SU used to carry and will be putting the extras on Ebay soon along with my stamps-  I have had no time in the last week to deal with it because my daughter Katie has the horrid flu and is VERY sick.  Our family Dr won't be back until tomorrow (she had knee surgery) so at 8 am Tuesday we will be at the Dr. office for sure.

I had planned to have my room cleaned and some more organizing and purging done by now but that hasn't happened or looks to happen for a couple more days- argh!

Here is the rack that I bought it at the scrapbook store sale last week when Lisa and I had our day out. I am excited that I can hang hooks on the outside sides and hang more things there too!  It's 7 ft tall and about 42 or so inches wide ( I didn't measure the width!)

I hope your day is marvelous!

Burnt offerings

That is exactly what I feel like today, a burnt offering.  I am totally burnt out.

After a couple hours of cleaning this morning in my work area, I watched a bit of TV, made dinner in the crock pot, pulled out all my tupperware to fit lids to so I can eliminate the extra lids or bottoms without a lid and free up some cabinet space. I ate lunch and laid down to watch Forever young and feel asleep. I am off in an hour to pick up Katie for voice lessons and then home. I hope by then I have some energy and ambition!

Here are a couple photos from convention and I will see you here tomorrow with a fantastic project!

I found a tray at michaels and painted my own and I have made some cute cups similar to these, they are easy and fun and my customers love them!
