Show and Tell

I spent the Weekend with my downline Cindy and we worked on several projects. As I went to load the photos this morning I see that she kept my chip and I have this project directly on my camera. I hope she drops it off before she leaves for Texas on Wednesday so I can share other projects with you too~ lol

This chipboard book Cindy gave me last month. Its about 6 inches wide by 12 inches long.

I used a glue stick to adhere the chipboard to the wrong side of the designer paper and set it aside to dry
I cut it out with a craft knife

There is one more solid page that is the back of the book and each letter has to be covered with designer paper on the "other side". I plan to work on it tonight after I carry my zillions of bags downstairs and put some of it away~ lol roflol

Takes me months to put it all away- one of the reasons I don't go to many scrapbooking crops as a participant!

Making Memories

While Jack was visiting we played numerous games of Jenga and the little twerp is REALLY good at it!  In this 12x12 scrapbook page, we are playing and Flat Stanley was there to help too. We had a great time!

Flat Stanley in Missouri

Our Grandson Kris in California sent Flat Stanley to visit us the last week of March!!

I am creating Stanley's Missouri trip journal and I used MDS this morning to create this front cover, I will have it printed at Sam's Club in 5x7 size to fit the front of the journal I am making. It has to go back to California with Grampa next week!

The journal Kris sent along just doesn't have enough pages for all the things Stanley did while he has been here!

I am using a 5x8 Stampin Up Board book for this journal, the individual pages will NOT be scrapbooked as they only need the photo and detail of the photo on the adjoining page.

I am excited to hear Kris's comments on Stanley's adventures at Grampa and Gramma's house!

Creating A New Scrapbook

Hi everyone!

Yesterday afternoon I decided to use the Smooches Download kit for My Digital Studio and put together our Leadership 2012 book. I started with an 8x8 but I didn't like how big the bleed area around the pages were so I converted it to a 12x12 and I like it much better.  I can hardly wait to get it finished (journaling is all that is left) and send it off to the printers!!!

Here is the front cover of the book.  As I Finish pages I will share a few more in the next few days.

 

 

I will make the photo a bit larger also, but I wanted to show you how cute these Smooches Downloads are! I love that this kit is pretty much a no brainer because the templates are all ready to use. I just added my photos and journaling! Oh, did I mention all the coordinating digi stamps that came with it and embellishments? WOWZA! Creating with this kit is going to be awesome in other projects becuase of all the fun images and embellishments!

I did have to create about 6 extra pages from templates to fit in all the photos I wanted giving me about 33 pages in my scrapbook.  I am pretty happy with the colors of these pages because they so remind me of San Antonio and all the bright colors everywhere!

The kit is a pre-order for Demonstrators only right now and will be available to the public after April 1st.  A wonderful perk of being a demonstrator is that we can purchase all new products in advance of anyone else!

Creating

Hi everyone!

Thought I would share a few photos of a cute mini book I am working on! As you can see, there is no finished project photo because, well, it's not finished yet! lol I am having fun taking my time and creating this book using all Stampin Up Products.

When it is finished, I will be sure to post a video showcasing the book page by page, but in the mean time here are a few preview shots

By now, you know me~~ I LOVE mini albums!  This one is going to be just to stikin cute using the Attic Boutique Product Suite from the Occasoins Mini Catalog. It may take me a week or more to finish because I am doing a lot of "detail" work on it this time. Lots of pearls, ribbons, tags, pages etc...  I won't be adding photos simply because I don't have any I really want to put in it yet. Creating a book or pages without photos doesn't bother me one bit, but I do have some friends who it totally freaks out! lololol

I am adding special tags, and journaling spots, you know all those fun little details that take a while to make.

I hope you are inspired to create today too!
