We had a wonderful time at Time Out for Women! I was also able to find the Container Store (hubby loved it) we will definately be going back! Then we went to Archivers at the St Louis Mills Mall- its a huge store! I purchased wires for my bind it all projects. I will be having a booth again this year at the Ozark Craft fair, so I must get busy making things to sell!
As for Time out- Michael McClain and Kim Johnson were the presenters on Friday night and it was a riot! Both men are awesome and talented and I would love to hear them again! If any of you have heard Kim speak you know about is "girl magic" and I am totally impressed! As for Michael- what a talented man and what inspiring and lovely music! I am grateful to have been in the crowd!
Saturday was wonderful as well with all the speakers. Hillary Weeks, Pam Hansen,Jane Clayson Johnson, S.Michael Wilcox, Jason Wright. What a great group! I am truly blessed to have been there.
We have flooding thanks to IKE, and water in the downstairs family room and stamp studio- several items in my stamp studio are now ruined! ARGH! Katie and I have pulled back the carpet and moved all we can- now to find a carpet cleaner to come suck the water out before it molds or worse-
Here are a couple photos of the back yard at 8 am this morning this water is min of 2 ft deep in the center and moving VERY fast- most roads are closed by the police and the county= hwy 60 was closed due to water and I have no plans to travel in it today or tomorrow!
These were taken from our bedroom window at 8 am. The water has now gone down quite a bit but I see more clouds coming!
Rain rain go away- come again when we are dry! lol
