Today I spent the day finishing up our Christmas cards, creating some new special cards and getting them ready for mailing and I am pooped!
I must admit that watching the first 5 episodes of Downton Abbey added to the fun!
Here are a couple of the specialty cards I made - tomorrow I will share the kit cards we are sending out.
This coyote card I found on a search for the stamp set- it was so hilarious that I couldn't stop laughing and I created it today to mail to my son who has a birthday on the 14th- I know I am a bad mom, how did time get away so fast that I didn't have this done and mailed a week ago? (hanging head in shame)
These are 3 special cards for 3 specific people. I used the Remembering Christmas stamp set in the clear mount from the Holiday catalog and the Poinsetta die by Tim Holtz and Sizzix for the gorgeous poinsetta.
The deer is stamped in silver ink and then covered with pewter embossing powder and heat embossed. The paper is the pre cut (loving these pads) Season of style designer paper packs on page 22 of the holiday catalog. I didn't have to cut up my 12x12 paper and I only had to trim these to fit my card front! Woot woot to Stampin Up for their ingenuity!
The cardstocks used, Crumb Cake, Real Red (poinsetta) Cherry Cobbler (oval) and the season of style pack. The inked inside saying is in Real Red from the Joy to the World clear mount stamp set page 24 of the Holiday catalog.
And of course because I used Stampin Up stamps I stamped the very back with my personalized Angel stamp due to Stampin Up copyright laws. See the policy HERE
