I am working with the new Birthday Bouquet designer paper from the Occasions 2016 catalog, and let me tell you how MUCH I love it! I also ordered the cardstock pack that coordinates with it to save hunting for the "right" colors!
I created this cute Dress card using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine and our Stampin Up! Cardstock and designer paper. EASY PEASY!
To find the Silhouette file just to go your Silhouette store through your machine, search for dress card and you will see it, I think it's the only one on there- (remember, I said "think"- lol)
I made the svg file the size I wanted then I copied and pasted one and made it larger. Then, I moved the original one into the larger one to see how it fit and when I achieved the space I wanted. I lined them up on my screen to match the papers that I had on my mat and cut them out by the click of my mouse! woot
As I was creating this I began to think of my Grandma Cochran and the dresses she wore. The Confetti designer paper is from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series pack- oh my gosh, I have fallen for this pack of 12x12 papers and I will be ordering SEVERAL more soon! It's a must for birthday projects!
The card was cute, but it needed a bit of bling- so this is what I decided to do: a Broach and a glitzy belt
I am not sure which granddaughter has the next birthday but she will get this card! How cute would this be on a scrapbook page and then you open it to read something about the person the page was designed for! I saved the template and I will definitely be making more of these cards for all kinds of reasons! How adorable for a wedding shower invite or a thank you!!!
Have a Creative Day everyone!
