We get a lot of questions on Stampin Up! products, so I am going to start sharing some of them and the answers here:
I love the new Blendabilities-they're so awesome! But my hands aren't as strong as they used to be, and I'm having trouble taking the caps off and putting them back on. I know that I have to seal the caps tightly or they'll dry up. Do you have any suggestions for making this easier?
Struggling to Cap
You're right-getting those caps on the Blendabilities pens is important. The pens are alcohol based, and the alcohol evaporates more quickly if the caps aren't sealed tightly.
I love to share what I call my Blendability table trick!
Look closely and you'll see that the caps aren't square; they're actually rectangle. Put the cap down on a flat surface (like your crafting table), and then line the pen up to match the cap, and push the two together. Voila!
Also notice that the cap is designed to "snap" into place, so you'll know you've got it on right when you hear (or feel) a little snap.
I've also heard other demonstrators suggest using the Silicone Craft Sheet to help grip the caps more tightly.
