Cook Book Project Finished!

Many of you know that I have been working in My Digital Studio creating Cookbook pages for each of my kids.  I FINALLY have them finished!

I created 32 pages of recipes that I cooked while they were at home and included a few new ones. I purchased the 8x8 books at a fabulous price on the CLEARANCE RACK on my Stampin Up Website.  I also purchased extra 8x8 clear page inserts and added them to each book.  I can't wait to give them to them when I see them for the wedding this month!  It took take 16 page protectors for the 32 pages.

When I started this project I chose a 12x12 page on MDS, but I soon changed it to 8x8 and I am really glad that I did.  I used my HP Photosmart Plus printer and put whisper white cardstock in it and printed it here at home.  I cut off the extra cardstock with our SU Tabletop Paper Cutter and the pages fit perfectly in the books.  I even left some plastic page protectors at the end empty for future favorite recipes. I am so excited to see their reactions!

One of the reasons I LOVE My Digital Studio is that there was no paper, supply waste creating these pages!  I was able to make tons of changes without cutting out anything! Such a great investment! I also love to use it to create a page and then take the idea to my studio and recreate it in paper because I know exactly what to cut, and I don't waste a thing!
