For Valentines Day we created this fun Vintage looking card that I cased somewhere from Stampin Connection!
I knew I wanted to use the Creative Elements Stamp set # 122647 on page 337 of the current Catalog but I was blank for inspiration. (I had a mini book swimming in my head instead! lol) I also knew I wanted to use our new Labels Collection FRAMELITS # 125598 as well and this worked out perfectly!
Stampin Connection is for Stampin Up Demonstrators only, where we can share our projects, ideas, tips and chat about our businesses as well as learn from each other. The resources from Stampin Up! for demonstrators is amazing compared to other companies and another reason I love being a demonstrator!
Here is a look at the inside of the card-
I have had this stamp set for a while now and NEVER used it- GASP! I will definitely be using it a lot more. I love the layering of the flower. Just stamp 3 images and cut out the first as the biggest size, then work your way in with the next 2 layers, Pretty easy to see each one in the stamp set.
I also love the way the stamped background turned out. I stamped in Cherry Cobbler and then sponged LIGHTLY over the images to give a worn feel. TO much sponging and you lose the flowers and it takes away from the elegance and vintage "feel" of the card.
I also stamped the inside of the card with the background stamp that comes in the stamp set and again on the front of the coordinating envelope.
Just gorgeous and everyone was pleased with their projects! I had Kay cut out several more so that we can make them up for our Card Keeper box to have on hand when we need it!
Hope your day is full of creativity and little stress! ;o)
