In 2004 I joined a quilt block of the month club at Quilt Sampler in Springfield. It was a pumpkin quilt and just in the last 2 weeks, I have begun working on the blocks! So if you are behind in your projects don't stress, so am I!
Here are the first 3 blocks- they are ready to be appliqued by machine and have the hand embroidery added to them--- I will post about my progress as there is some! lol
I am hoping it will be all done and ready for NEXT fall's decorating season! lol Would rather have it THIS Fall but know that is probably not going to happen- wishing I had started this silly project in January so it was ready to use! lol
My awesome boss is egging --er I mean "encouraging me" to get it done so she can use the pattern too! lol She is a great encouragement and a very talented lady and I am glad to finally after 5 years of living here have a quilting buddy.
These are blocks 1-2-3 there are 12 and I want to get at least one more ironed on today
so I have an entire row ready to machine applique. I will be using the botton hole stitch with some I think dark tannish thread.
Have a great day!

Looking good, Gwen. Keep it up!
