As part of our Making a Difference program, Stampin' Up! is proud to partner with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation in the Strength & Hope Campaign.
Throughout the 2011 Summer Mini Catalog sales period, Stampin' Up! will donate $2* from the sale of each Strength & Hope Stamp set and Strength & Hope digital kit to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Here is a preview of the Strength & Hope Digital Kit and what I have created with it so far
This when printed, will be a regular sized card and will open bottom up (kwim?)
The first photo is the front and the 2nd photo is the top inside, and then the 3rd photo of course is the bottom inside where a signature will go.
*** Added April 6, 2011.... I am glad that Julie posted in the comments section, I printed the photo of her card while I was in Mydigitalstudio.net when I saw this beautiful card and the name of the person who made it was not on my printed copy but I am giving a lot of credit to the help I received from Patty Bennett while working on it.
The original creator is Julie Leblanc. Just go to www.mydigitalstudio.net and type in her name to see her original creation of the card. I have no problem giving credit when I case something, but most of the time by the time I am done I have forgotten where I found it. My Computer and my studio are on 2 different floors of the house and I do not have a lap top.
There is a LOT of layering on this card on every page,an effect that cannot be achieved with traditional stamping, and I love how it turned out! I was inspired by a card I saw on mydigitalstudio.net, but it only showed the front and not anything for the inside. I didn't make mine exactly the same because honestly, the torn edge stamp and I are not quite friends yet and I didn't have the designer paper she used. But I really love this designer paper because I love roses, flowers and all things pink! And the digital kit came with the ribbon, the heart and much more to choose from!
I will be having several copies printed through the SU Professional Print Services- only $1.95 each (including the insides AND an envelope). LOVE IT!
I hope this inspires you to be creative with your My Digital Studio program! Come back tomorrow and see how I used MDS to watercolor digitally!
