Weight loss update!! GREAT NEWS!

As of this morning- I have lost 16 pounds in just over 3 months and I am thrilled!!

 

I am using Isagenix shakes for breakfast and  eating a STRICT high protein, low carb SUGAR FREE meal plan.  I eat 5 times a day and I don't have to "work out" to lose.  It's working and I am thrilled! I am going to stay on this program until I am at my goal weight!

 

My sister wil be here tonight for a couple weeks, we will be doing all kinds of things including projects, scrapbooking, sewing and sight seeing. She has not been to my home since we moved here in 2003 so this will be so much fun!!

Teaching Card Classes in Seymour

Kay and I were in Seymour on Friday the 23rd of July 2010 and we taught a private card making class to Karen and Sara.

We had SO much fun!  And we were given a tour of Karen's craft room too- yahooo! Always love tours!!

Here they are showing me her scrapbook pages.  I love sharing and gathering inspiration from my friends and customers, you guys just make my life awesome! Thanks for having me over, I am excited to do it again soon and Karen, we miss you at Wednesday class but totally understand!

Customer Appreciation BBQ Video part 1

The Quilt Tops are Finished! Woo hooo!

Here are both log cabin quilt tops! I will be taking them later this week to Ivonna the Machine Quilting lady. Unfortunately it takes about 6 weeks to get them back because she is SO busy and there is a waiting line! The sooner I can take them the sooner I can get them back, she has the quilt top now for the double sized bed in the Cowgirl room  and I can't wait to get it back.  I told her just to quilt it "cowboy" because she always does such a wonderful job and I am pretty excited!

I will also be putting dust ruffles on these beds to match the curtain in either a navy or a black check (black seems very popular in all the magazines right now)  and it will match the cute black lamp with the blue lampshade I have too, so we will see.

anyhow I know many of you are anxious to see the photos of the quilts so I thought I would show them before they are quilted and again when they are all done!

Kay is finishing up the Customer Appreciation Barbeque Video tonight so it will post tomorrow- part 1 anyhow! If you want to see my stamp studio, my storage and my crafting area in my family room where all re-treaters will be creating then check this video out!

putting new luxurious sheets on the twin beds in the Americana room, setting up the new lamp, planning/plotting the night stands (thinking made of barn wood ) and changing to brand new luxurious sheets in the Cowgirl room and tidying it up- have a booking for 2 weeks starting this friday!! I am so excited- so much to do, where is my clone?

Canning Meat Sauce

My dear friend from church Christina was here  so we could can meat sauce together- it was delicious and we saved some out for tacos before watching movies while the pressure canners did their job! I am sworn to secrecy (mums the word) on her recipe but let me tell you it is sweet and it is delish!

We always put our camp stove on the deck when we can- that way we don' heat up the house or the garage.  We really had a good time and are plotting our next canning day! Probably green beans...... we will see!   We packed the sauce she made into pint jars and processed at 10 bs for 75 minutes just like the recipe she used said to. 

PERFECTION!  She uses this sauce in tacos, spaghetti, lasagna, and casseroles to name a few ( I have forgotten the rest of what she said! lol)

I hope this inspires you to use your pressure canner and get your delicious, healthy foods made and stored for winter!
