Thanks for the lovely BBQ. You guys are awesome. Everything looked absolutely PERFECT! I loved the white table cover and the flowers on the downstairs outside table, and the grass skirt-like skirting around the deck upstairs, and all the torches. I really loved the little paper flowers for the straws! Everything was really beautiful and the food was outstanding. You are amazing.

Weight loss Update!

AS of today  I have lost 11 pounds using the Isagenix system and eating better- I will admit that I have not been strict to the program and that due to my bad hips I have a hard time exercising without ending up in the Chiropractor's office, but I am using the system and loving the results!

I am not only losing weight,  I feel better and I have more energy AND, I am sleeping better at night and those things make me VERY happy!

Sneak Peak of New Hostess Set

In the new catalog is a gorgeous Hostess set called " I believe"   I have been using it like crazy and today I want to share one of my favorite creations made from this set

I started with the One Sheet Wonder technique! WHAT? HUH? (4 cards from one stamped sheet of card stock)

One sheet wonder is when you take 1 sheet of card stock and stamp the design wiht black stazon ink all over it.  Then cut it into the size of pieces you need for the project. In this case I stamped and cut an 8.5 x11 sheet of Very Vanilla Card stock and cut it into 4 pieces that measure 4 x 5.25" and layered them on basic black cardstock. 

This is quite a striking card, the black and vanilla monotone color is just well- gorgeous! I used black satin 5/8" ribbon also and the top note die for the inside decor.

Just wait till you see the post I have coming about the BOX I made using this set and it's Incredibly gorgeous if I do say so myself!

Well my dear friends, back to preparing for the Customer Appreciation Barbeque on Saturday-  I have lost my paper lanterns-   I sure hope I don't have to buy new ones!

P.S.  I found Kay's camera in his church bag after calling to ask where he had it hid! Was easier to transfer photos off the camera to my computer than I thought! YAY!
