Oh my gosh! Who knew that I could create a cute thinking of you card using my Cricut, and Stampin Up! Cardstock and designer papers?
Check it out! I CALL this (pun intended) My Operator card. Can you imagine how kids would freak out now if they had to use an old rotary phone? I think they should! no more texting for a month! lol At least texting got the kids off the home phone so parents could use it!
isn't this just tooo cute? I used a retired SAB designer paper, bashful blue, basic black and whisper white cardstocks for the phone note card- Size 4 on the Cricut setting.
I wish I had a cute HELLO stamp set, but I don't so I decided that a phone and "thinking of you" worked well together!
I love love love that the Cricut cartridge has an envelope option! Tip: Even tho these cute envelopes cannot be "mailed" as is, put your phone card in your awesome envelope and add that to a card sized envelope and mail it off to your friend or loved one! How cute would this be to send your soldier to let them know you are thinking about them!!
you can hardly see it but the machine cuts this really cute phone cord along the flap of the envelope! to stinkin die for! How cute would this be as a tag on a scrapbook page with a message or a photo inside of it? Yowza!
The cartridge that I used I bought on sale at a craft store and it's called Wild Card.
Today I am using it to create graduation cards in our school colors to sell in my booth this Saturday!
Have an awesome day, I am thoroughly enjoying the rain because I don't have to water outside today! woo hoo! lol More time to create!
I posted my technique challenge over at Soul Scrappers, check it out, join the group and get scrapping!
See ya next post!
