Over at Soul Scrappers we have all kinds of challenges going on, I created this page for the SC6 Sketch Challenge. It turned out pretty well! It was fun to sit with my scrapbooking pals last night at Friday night crop and create my own project/page!
Remember that you can click on the photo to see it larger. I had so much fun creating this page for the Soul Scrappers Sc6 Sketch Challenge. Each piece of cardstock is either sewn on my machine or hand hole punched to look sewn. This photo is from when I lived in Washington state you can See Mt Adams in the background- that is 15 miles behind me. I wish I were that thin again! this photo was taken at least 16 years ago. Gosh wow that is a long time and a past life! lol This is going in my about me book and thanks to the Soul Scrappers site, I am creating one!
The flowers are a SU punch # 118073 Extra Large Fancy Flower, with a retired SU rub on flower on top and then the SU button tied with vanilla crochet thread.
The lettering was made using my cricut and after cutting the letters I ran them through my smallest Xyron. I have all 4 sizes of Xyron (2 were gifts and one I got in a trade and the other I purchased) they are life savers for projects like this!! The more mustard scallop edge was made with More Mustard cardstock from SU and our Scallop Edge punch. The papers are from a stack called: Material Girl & Garden Variety, the red layer is Real Red c/s from SU and the greens are Old Olive and Always Artichoke. This was a very fun page to create!
