I have finally made our family a Thankful Journal to use at turkey dinner time. It will be packed away each year with our fall decor. Well, that is the plan anyhow lol! I did NOT stamp this cover, it is one of the sheets of dsp from the Autumn Meadows collection! And I am not putting anything else on the cover because I really love the simple elegance.
I used
- Autumn Meadows Designer paper #116769
- and the stamp sets:
- Autumn Splendor # 116503
- Gobble Gobble #116535
- Autumn Harvest # 110372
- Autumn Days # 115452
- Sanded #109294
- Dbl Stitched Choc Chip Grosgrain Ribbon # 111849
- Some rub ons from my "stash" that I have been hoarding for a year now and found at a craft fair in Tulsa last fall! Yes, I used the entire package! lol
- the back inside cover has a 6x6 envelope stamped with the sanded bg stamp and will be used as a pocket
- a die cut with the dsp and the 113468 scallop circle
- Composition notebook that I purchased when they were on sale during the pre school sales this fall
the inside left cover has a pocket made from the dsp to put memorabilia in
this is one of the pumpkins Kay made for his pumpkin video tutorial!
this guy reminds me of home where I grew up- In the Yakima Valley in Washington State
another pumpkin from Kays tutorial video!
this is my favorite page, I stamped it mimicking the front cover and it turned out beautifully
draw a light pencil circle then take your leaf stamp from
Autumn Days and stamp around the circle to create a wreath
These are NOT all the stamped pages, but some of my favorites, I tried to keep this simple yet fun and MAYBE elegant/country lol
this is the inside back with the envelope pocket for misc
I love this book! I am excited to share it at turkey dinner and pass it around for each person to write and date their thought and what they are grateful for this year on any page they choose. What a great memory book when it is filled!
I hope you have enjoyed my photos and now I am off to the studio to make a few more projects for the craft booth on Saturday! Have a wonderfully productive day!

Love this Gwen!
I will have to make one for our Thanksgiving get together. I love the idea of using any page desired instead of ging in order.
I may have to do something like this for our school to keep also.
Blessings,
Beth
