So far this morning I have all the laundry washed and dried, a pot of vegetable beef soup simmering on the stove top, my newsletters and reminders emailed, my class list on my demo site updated, 4 calls made and now I am off to keep decorating so I can have it done and get back to creating projects!

Remember back a long while ago when I posted my quilt top? Well it is finally back from the machine quilting lady Ivyonne (she is about 4 miles away as the crow flies)

IT'S AMAZING! IT'S GORGEOUS!! I am very excited!!  Here are a few photos and when I get the binding finished I will take a photo of it on the bed and share it too!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my quilt! I hope to have time before Christmas to get it finished- right now for winter we have the flannel snowman quilt I made on the bed so I am good if I don't get it finished before January. 

My priority right now is that I have to finish the decorating this week for the home tour and I have several projects I want to sew to add to my Christmas decor- new quilts for the couch and beds and dishtowels and wall hangings. So except for 2 stamping classes, I am taking the month off from stamping to decorate, sew and be creative in my other favorite areas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

Yes, here at the Mangelson house it's beginning to look a LOT like Christmas!  We are about 1/2 done with the decorating inside and mostly done with the outside. It was SO warm and gorgeous today we spent 4 hours outside putting up these lights-  the home tour is the 12th of December all ticket sales are by the local florist and all proceeds go to the senior center. We are 1 of 4 homes on the indoor tour. C'mon by!

  Tomorrow we have 2 large trees to assemble and put lights on and organizing the downstairs family room and decorating it along with cleaning our church. I think I need to go to bed early~ lol

Instructions

1. Open My Digital Studio, and select Greeting Card from New Project Options. Select 6# x 6# Square.
2. Name project, and save. Select Blank Page.
3. Select Background Papers in Design Center. Select Card Stock. Select Kraft.
4. Select Stamps in Design Center. Select daisies image from Upsy Daisy brush set, and apply. Select Change Color from Stamps Design Center menu. Select Whisper White, and set the opacity to 45 percent.
5. Select Punches in Design Center. Select 1.25 Square punch, and apply. Drag edges of square image or right click to resize to 605 pixels x 80 pixels strip with ends of image falling into bleed area of project. Drag strip to cover portion of daisies image.
6. Select rectangle strip. Select Color Fill from Punches Design Center menu. Select Old Olive, and apply. Strip will be recolored to Old Olive.
7. Select Stamps in Design Center. Select circle pattern image from Big Bold Birthday brush set, and apply. Drag over Old Olive strip, and right click to resize image to 57 pixels x 68 pixels. Select Change Color from Stamps Design Center menu. Select Whisper White, and set the opacity to 65 percent. Copy image, and repeatedly paste image, dragging copies to fill in Old Olive strip with circles.
8. Select Stamps in Design Center. Select sentiment 1 image from Heard from the Heart brush set, and apply. Right click to resize image to 389 pixels x 69 pixels. Select Change Color from Stamps Design Center menu. Select Whisper White, and set the opacity to 90 percent.
9. Select Stamps in Design Center. Select bracket image from Schoolbook Serif Numbers brush set, and apply. Right click to resize image to 63 pixels x 216 pixels. Select Change Color from Stamps Design Center menu. Select Whisper White. Copy image, and paste. Drag over to other side of sentiment, and select Mirror to flip image.
10. Select Embellishments in Design Center. Select flower 6 image from Summer Home - flowers Designer Kit. Apply. Right click to resize image to 70 pixels x 65 pixels. Rotate 13 degrees to the right using rotation slider in Design Center. Select Drop Shadow from Embellishments Design Center menu. Set drop shadow to Blur: 2, Opacity: 35.
11. Select Embellishments in Design Center. Select Old Olive button from Round Buttons menu, and apply. Center button in flower, and right click to resize button to 34 pixels x 34 pixels.
12. Save project, and Share using desired setting from Share Project drop-down menu.

Digtal Stamps Greatest Moments Hoppy Memories Schoolbook Serif Alphabet Digital Paper Pink Passion Tempting Turquoise Old Olive large polka-dot digital paper Hoppy Memories Designer Kit Sunny Day Designer Kit Digital Accessories & Tools Old Olive round button Scallop Edge punch 1.25 Square punch Instructions Open My Digital Studio, and select Photo Album from New Project Options. Select 12" x 12" Square. Select Create Your Own. Name project, and save. Select the Square 09 template. Select Background Papers in Design Center. Select Old Olive Large Polka-Dot paper.  From top left - Squares 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16: Drag and drop photos into squares. I made fudge and put it in the paper cups and I also molded chocolate in shapes of bottles, buggies., bears, booties etc...  that went in the top plate of this holder

 
  


I used some cute bags from my drawer and punched 2 holes and tied them shut with the pink tuelling they were so cute and EASY~
