Today and tomorrow I am spending my time preparing for our Friday night group meeting. My downline and any other local demo are invited to attend. Leslie is talking about convention, showing her swaps, the items from momento mall, YES BUILD a BEAR will be here!! She will also tell us what happened at convention and we will have 2 make and takes just like they made at convention! We will have show and tell of our projects and a full card swap featuring items from the new holiday mini catalog!!
OH! I nearly forgot- snacks!! I hope someone brings chocolate..... ;o) hint hint.....
So over the weekend I will have meeting photos to share and put in the photo album. If you are a demonstrator within driving distance let me know by Wed you are coming and you can join us!
If you are someone interested in Stampin Up as a business or to buy just for your own personal use, you are welcome to come too just let me know by Wednesday!
Here is a photo of a swap card that came from convention, it's really a shame that people dont stamp their names on the back (insert sad face)
Stamp sets are Tree Trimmings # 116722 and Sweet Season #116741
Have an awesome day!!!
This is my new way of wrapping wedding gifts- using the big shot 3 tier pop up cake die, some pretties kit flowers & pearls, whisper white cardstock, my big shot non SU tag die, gold ribbon from a craft store, and gold encore inks and our gold cardstock from SU.
what do you think? Kay and I think its just GEORGOUS!
And the happy newlyweds!
I will definately be using this idea for future packages- it is so elegant and so gorgeous in person!
I have a wonderful friend whom I am taking to Branson to birthday lunch today and then some shopping for both of us. I have already given her her gift but not the card-
I saved it for today!
Here is the card using realy rust, chocolate chip, very vanilla and the stamp set 24-7
and yes, I DID sew on the card! My first love is sewing- did you know that? I just do not make time for ir much anymore. I am going to have to change that because I need new quilts throughout the house due to age and use of my old ones and they are falling apart! lol
I used the pretties kit for the beads and pin and my sewing machine is about 27 years old and the BEST BERNINA in the world! I would love to know how many miles we have together I know it is several thousands of miles! Someone took a photo of a card similar to this at convention and I saw in on their blog- I loved it so much I cased it! I can see this card in several colors! The card size is 6"x6"

What would you do without your friends? There'd be no one go shopping with, paper craft with, or to chat with for hours on end! Luckily, you have your friends, and with the Friends 24-7 stamp set you can tell them how much you appreciate their friendship and their company. This set is part of the Shelli Signature Collection, and coordinates with the Friendly Words jumbo wheel.
it is definately one of MY personal favorite stamp sets!
have an awesome day- will share photos and info of todays fun over the weekend!
FINALLY! Kay has his next tutorial video ready for you!
As an engineer by trade, he is quite fussy about how the videos should be. So after much fussing, I am thrilled to tell you it's done!! And I told him I am getting an egg timer for his practicing and length of video!! lol He has so much info that he wants to share, all at the same time!
yes, this is entirely his creation and so is the video, I am just the critic and the camera person (who is learning what to do so please forgive! lol)
have an awesome day!

Yes, so far I have 39 quarts of tomatos. I added celery, onion and garlic to some of them also.
Remember a few posts ago the photos about the trays of stuff in the food dryer?
Well here they are- onions and peppers!! YUMMO!
altho its a lot of work now, and being an ANT and not a GRASSHOPPER, I love putting my home grown food by for the winter! And Another reason I LOVE being a Stampin Up demonstrator becuas what other job would allow me to can tomatos instead of be at work? Between processing times, I was able to do some creating- you can't do that at another job!
check back tomorrow for Kays newest video, the engineer in him is trying to make it "perfect", and I am trying to remind him just dont sweat the small stuff!
Have a great day, I have a hair cut, more canning, visiting Cassadie in the hospital (family friend who goes to school with Kasey and a good friend to Katie)
see you again soon!
For those of us who werent able to attend convention, we are swapping 1-1 cards on our own. 1-1 means you send me one I send you one.
Here are 3 cards I have received so far! Aren't they gorgeous!?!
Technique Card class was today and we had a fun time! I wish you could have joined us! The next card class is Aug 26, 1-3 pm $5.00 and we will make one card with an envelope.
Every other week is technique card week where I teach specific techniques and its made into a card- sometimes more than one technique is used! (well most of the time! lol)
The other card class is a normal fun card class. It actually takes less than an hour but I plan 2 hours because we like to chat!
I am truly blessed with this business because of the wonderful friends it brings into my life!
Hope your day has been terrific and that you are inspired by these beautiful cards also! As the rest of the swaps arrive, I will be sure to share!
At the next few workshops booked, the hostess will receive a cute hostess gift similar to this one at her workshop!! I cant tell you exactly what is in the cello bag but this hint will help (it stamps on cardstock! lol)
Want to hold a catalog workshop? Place your order online and receive a cute gift like this!! If you dont want to fuss with workshops and want to just order for yourself and place a 150.00 qualifying order (or more) on my demo website, you will receive a hostess gift similar to this one too!
Offer Ends Aug 31st.
These are turning out to stinkin cute!!
Hey check back tomorrow for photos of some awesome swap cards I have gotten in the mail!! and Kay is working hard on editing his newest video- you wont want to miss it!
