It is the biggest blessing next to good health that anyone can have!
Growing a Garden (be sure to send me photos of your garden this year and I will post them here on the blog!) We are putting our garden in and growing extra food to can and put in the pantry for the winter as it is not only healthier than buying from the store, it is going to help us with our food budget crunch.

Today and Thursday I am here at the Skrappin Barn in Marshfield Missouri running the shop for my friend Deb while she has surgery. Come on over and skrap the day away with me!
I was asked to make party favors for a Mother's day tea for moms and daughters for a table setting,
Her only requirements were a butterfly and bold bright colors so Kay and I opted to make them in sets of 2, so that each mom and daughter had a matching set different from the others at the table.
Here is what we came up with , some have windows and some don't. These were easy and fun to make because Kay runs the big shot (my man and his tools lol!) we ran the butterflies through the big shot with the texture plates.
I added a new photo album titled RWIB Women's expo 2009 with all the photos that I took on Saturday during the festivities, I hope they turned out well because I havent checked yet! lol

there are more photos in the album! yes that front table is where my wonderful hubby Kay sat and demonstrated the big shot all day! He was using pepsi cans and wowing the crowd!

I used the template idea on page 81 of the Idea book and catalog (dont cha love the catalog for all its ideas we can copy?) I did change it up a bit. ANd This is the Friends 24-7 stamp set $25.95 # 113218 , it is so elegant and classy it is a must have set!
Here are one of my very favorite things to make- 3x4 notebooks! they are so classy and a popular seller in all my booths!
I did use shimmer mist on these projects- what fun and how fast! Shimmer mist is a spray mist in colors that adds that antique look. I have been buying it and never used it so I decided I would give it a go and see what happened and I love the results! The book on the left has a light spray and the right has a darker one.

This afternoon we begin setting up for the Rogersville Women In Business Expo- I am in charge of the vendor area and I have a booth also! What was I thinking! lolol
I made this pretty pink rose card for my display table- what do you think? I chose to photo it laying down so the gorgeous embossing would show up better. IT REALLY is a MUST have because it is so versatile.
The photo just doesnt do it justice at all! I had a hard time finding an elegant saying to fit in the oval punch. Any suggestions? Its the large oval punch

Here is a photo of Linda and I at an Anna Griffin scrapbooking class At Scrapbook Generations in Springfield from last week. Linda is also one of my new downline and we have a ton of fun when we are together! I think I needed to comb my hair! lol

Tonight I have another class I am taking- I decided this year is MY year to learn from others so stay tuned!!! Now, I am going outside for a while-
oh before I forget- my doctor appointment yesterday was AWESOME, blood test was done to verify hormone levels, and in 2 weeks I will be getting my bioidenticals from my favorite compounding pharmacy!! I am glad she WANTED to hear my symptoms, talked to me about them and never once put me down or made me feel I was wrong- Dr Wotherspoon is fantastic and I highly recommend her and her office staff!!
I am excited today not only to share a couple more layouts from my scrapping on Saturday but that I FINALLY get in to see the new doctor for my long awaited bioidentical hormones!
I have waited SIX+ weeks to see this doctor and Today is the day! I have charted for a month what is happening on a scale of 0-5 (5 being the worst/highest) gathered info, read books, and prayed for this day to hurry and get here so that I can finally get the help that the last doctor REFUSED to give me. It's like they say not only on TV but in real life, keep searching for a doctor that WILL help you, I will post more tomorrow about the visit- but for now- let's scrapbook!

Kudos To Miss California for her honesty! That man asked her what SHE believed and now has the gall to critisize her for it because it didn't fit what HE believes. Gimme a break people!
I am sick of people having to say what others want to hear or keep their opinions to themselves in FEAR of offending someone. Politically correct is in my opinion "ignorant nonsensical talk". We have FREEDOM of speech, so don't ask someone for THEIR opinion if you don't want to hear it and don't be afraid to speak up- the leftists aren't afraid to shove/force their politics down our throats!

We have the cutest granddaughterand they call her Kare Bear after the care bears- duh lol
Here is a page I made for my husband for his screensaver and to put in a frame for his desk. I found this Care Bear page at the Scrap Nook in Springfield on Hwy H. And the minute I saw it, this page flashed into mind. My hubby Kay is the BEST grampa & dad I have ever seen. He is kind and always MAKES time for his family regardless of what he is doing. All the little kids at church run to hug him.... he is 6'2" tall so he just bends at the knees to be more eye level with each of them and they hug the stuffing out of him!
When we were first engaged he took me to his family reunion and all of his nieces and nephews of EVERY age would scream "UNCLE KAY!!!" and literally come running for him and they hugged him and were so thrilled to see him and they chatter and the love shared was so wonderful. It was then that I knew what a marvelous gentle man I was honored to be marrying! I am truly blessed to be married to such a wonderful, kind, and loving man! Anyhow- I hope you enjoy this page as much as I had fun making it!
Isn't she just a doll? To bad she lives so FAR away.
