I printed her tutorial for this adorable candy purse and made one. Now, I am addicted not only to the chocolate in the center, but to making these tiny purses as well! Lorie, you were right and I am glad I listened! lol (I think?)
This is my very first Diorama Card, I see that the inside c/s circles are not quite in the right place- I will know better next time.

I used weathered designer paper , choc chip classic ink, creamy caramel and whisper white c/s and I colored the horses in with SU chalks. There are 4 brads and I used mono adhesive because its my first project only. I will use the sticky tape for the next ones. This is a really cute idea and VERY easy to accomplish quickly- but of course the more elaborate you decorate it the longer it takes. (hence the reason I opted for designer paper! lol) this is a deep card as you will see in the tutorial.

This coaster book is made from 2, 4x4 coasters one sheet of cardstock stamped in the one sheet wonder technique.
Using the wild rose stamp set I first stamped the pretty in pink flower all over the cardstock. Then I used regal rose and stamped the 2nd stamp ( 2 step stamping method) over the pink. After that I used the same method for the leaves and then as you will see in the photo, I used a sponge dauber to put a touch of so saffron in the centers. I added Itty bitty background stamp in pretty in pink and then added a word stamp.
From this point of having the entire sheet stamped, I cut 4, 4x4 pieces for my book. I used regal rose cardstock as the accent color, I also took the uncut flowers & leaves, and cut them out individually crinkled them a bit added mod podge to both sides to protect them from getting ripped, sprinkled dazzling diamonds on them and set them aside on wax paper to dry. I mod podged my stamped squares to the coasters inside and out and let them dry. I cut coordinating naturals cardstock for the pages and then I punched 2 holes in the left side of the c/s and the coasters.I tied ribbons to bind them all together and then added my 3-d flowers with dimensionals to the top.

Oh my, I love this project!
I made this mug today in less than 10 minutes! Now, you should know that watercoloring is NOT one of my favorite things to do, but this little pig makes me forget that fact and snares me into his pen every single time! (we raised over 300 feeder hogs about 24 years ago, plus registered duroc sows and piglets). Inside the mug is a packet of hot cocoa mix, I wanted to use my chicken soup istant packet but it was way to large to fit. I don't mind watercoloring when I can use my watercolor crayons because they make shading and filling in so much easier for me!
Unfortunately, it is the time of year for flu, colds and other illnesses. So, I am headed back to the workroom to make a few more to put in my get well box to send when friends become sick.
I love sharing artwork each week from a Featured Artist! This week we have a beautiful card made using the "Shimmering Rainbow Technique". This is a lovely creation by Featured Artist "Sue Erickson".
Sue and I are on an email list together called technique junkies, and the minute I saw this card I knew I wanted to feature it here!
I will bet you think this post is about tags. Gift tags or hanging tags! It's really about being tagged with a card by an email friend! HA HA!
Card tagging is no different than the childhood game of tag your it that we all have played. In the last week I have been made the list mom for a wonderful online group for Stampin Up! Demonstrators only. In this group we have a game we play called card tag. Those who want to participate enter their name and personal information into a database specifically for this purpose and then the fun begins! We choose a name from the list, preferably one that isn't yet marked as tagged. Then we put a code by their name a, * or a number, and we make and mail that person or people a card! We keep going and going just like the energizer bunny! I don't know about you, but there is nothing as exciting as opening the mail and receiving a hand made card!

I have been busy playing with an old favorite technique today and here is one card that I made. I love the colors and I feel it would not only make a beautiful Valentine, but a bridal shower invitation or gift card, a birthday card and a wedding card OR even an anniverysary card! I think these colors are very elegant together! In the past I have made wedding decorations, table favors etc in this color combo and it was incredible.
The techinuqe is called "Polished Stone and I want to say that even if you dont own "alcohol Inks" you can make Stampin Up! Reinkers into alcohol inks very easily!
Polished stone is one of the many techniques that I teach in my technique club that I hold here in my classroom.
I used all Stampin Up! supplies to make this card, renikers in pretty in pink and going gray, versamark pad and sliver embossing powder, pink organdy ribbon, silver cardstock, pretty in pink cardstock and white glossy cardstock for applying the technique. The stamp step is Loving Hearts.

Hello! I have been creating tonight. I saw "THE" most gorgeous card here on Splitcoaststampers , and fell in love with it! I knew that I would have to case the idea, so I decided I would create this 6x6 page of Kay and I taken at our daughter Jodie's wedding Sept 2005. The page went together well, but was very time consuming due to all the detail. I feel it was worth all the time.
I started by cutting a 6x6 from Sahara Sand cardstock and I stamped it with the leaf from the Stampin Up! Wild Roses Set using always artichoke classic ink. I then cut a 5 1/x x 5 1/2 of Regal Rose cardstock and stamped the word LOVE from the Wonderful Words stamp set in Regal Rose ink and set it aside.
I then took whisper white, inked up the Print Pattern background stamp with sahara sand and stamped that. I like to stamp background stamps wiht the rubber up, put ink all over it and lay my cardstock on it. I then take my grid paper and fold it over the cardstock and rub, this way I dont get any ink on my hands and I love the results. .
I think that next time I will "stamp off" the ink to my grid sheet and then stamp it to the cardstock so its not quite so bright but more subtle. I then took the French Script b/g stamp and inked it up with regal rose classic ink and stamped over the print pattern. I trimmed the whisper white c/s to fit the size of the background stamping. I then cut Pretty in Pink cardstock to fit under or "frame" the whisper white.
I knew I wanted a circle the minute I layered what I had stamped so far! So I pulled my giga punches out buy them here and punched out the mega scallop circle and then the regular giga circle and layered them using mono adhesive.
I took the scrap whisper white cardstock and stamped the Wild Rose rose buds in pretty in pink and then in regal rose classic inks and cut each out by hand.The rosebuds are heat embossed with irridescent ice and they are just as shiney as the organdy ribbon but hard to see in the photo graph. Then I stamped the leaves using mellow moss and then always artichoke classic inks and cut them out. I printed the photo on the computer and layed it in, then layering the leaves and rose buds bending them to give dimension. The rose buds are adhered with dimensionals from Stampin Up! And last but not least I tied the white organdy bow and used pop up glue dots also from SU!
I am very pleased with the project and I look forward to making a few more to coordinate! I feel it is simple yet elegant. I also think this will make wonderful cards for weddings, anniversaries and even photo frames!
