Coaster Book

This coaster book is made from 2, 4x4 coasters one sheet of cardstock stamped in the one sheet wonder technique.

Using the wild rose stamp set I first stamped the pretty in pink flower all over the cardstock. Then I used regal rose and stamped the 2nd stamp ( 2 step stamping method) over the pink. After that I used the same method for the leaves and then as you will see in the photo, I used a sponge dauber to put a touch of so saffron in the centers. I added Itty bitty background stamp in pretty in pink and then added a word stamp.

From this point of having the entire sheet stamped, I cut 4, 4x4 pieces for my book.  I used regal rose cardstock as the accent color, I also took the uncut flowers & leaves, and cut them out individually crinkled them a bit added mod podge to both sides to protect them from getting ripped, sprinkled dazzling diamonds on them and set them aside on wax paper to dry.  I mod podged my stamped squares to the coasters inside and out and let them dry. I cut coordinating naturals cardstock for the pages and then I  punched 2 holes in the left side of the c/s and the coasters.I tied ribbons to bind them all together and then added my 3-d flowers with dimensionals to the top.
